Formed relatively recently (1919), Leeds United went on to become one of English football’s biggest names. Under manager Don Revie they won league titles in 1968-69 and 1973-74, the League Cup in 1967-68, and the FA Cup in 1971-72. In Europe, Leeds won the Inter-City Fairs Cup (in 1967-68 and 1970-71), and have also been runners-up in both the 1973 European Cup Winners’ Cup and the 1975 European Cup. The Whites also won the final title before the formation of the Premier League (1991-92). The new millennium witnessed a sharp decline in Leeds’ fortunes, before a return to the Premier League under the management of Marcelo Bielsa. Here at New Vintage Football we have re-created some of Leeds’ most famous kits from 1955 to 2014, as worn by such club heroes as John Charles, Billy Bremner, Jack Charlton, Norman Hunter, Eddie Gray, Peter Lorimer, Allan Clarke, John Giles, David Batty, Lucas Radebe, and Tony Yeboah.
