The club from Rome were founded in 1900, but had to wait until 1958 for their first major success (the Coppa Italia), since then they have gone on to become the fourth most successful club in terms of total trophies won. They first won Serie A in 1974, and followed that up with another championship in the year 2000. That second title was the high point of a period of success that began in the late 1990s and which has also included winning the last-ever European Cup Winners Cup (1998-99) and six further Coppas Italia (the most recent one in 2018/19). Their main rivalry is the Rome derby with AS Roma, with whom they share the Stadio Olimpico. Here at New Vintage Football we have re-created some of the Biancoceleste’s most famous shirts from 1973-2015, as worn by stars such as Giorgi Chinaglia, Paul Gascoigne, Giuseppe Favalli, Pavel Nedved, Juan Sebastian Veron, Diego Simeone, Miroslav Klose, and Alessandro Nesta.
